September 2017
Zoe's door was auctioned off on Sept 7 at the Whitney Peak Hotel.  
Proceeds go to benefit Transforming Youth Recovery.  This is the third year that Zoe has participated - she loves the process and the fact that she's helping this amazing organization. This year only 20 artists were invited, so Z feels quite honored and humbled!

March 2017
Check out the brand-spankin' new gallery at Nevada Fine Arts.
 Zoe was part of the inaugural show, which was all animal-related (proceeds benefitted the Northern Nevada Humane Society).  Pieces of 50 amazing artists were on display the entire month of March.

December 2016
Zoe had 20 pieces on display at the Riverside Hub for the entire month of December (hosted by Art Spot Reno).  
Zoe was on-hand to discuss her art, the stories behind the pieces and anything else 11-year olds like to talk about.  Limited edition, signed prints were available, along with her popular magnet sets.

...Zoe once again created a door for the Doors to Recovery project.  Her door was auctioned off at the Nevada Museum of Art September 10th!

Zoe was a Featured Artist for the Midtown Art Walk.  Pieces were on display at the fabulous, fantastic, magical Sippee's store.

​Zoe was honored to participate in the 7th Annual Midtown Art Walk.  This was Z's first showing of 2016, so there were lots of new creatures to see.  Framed, signed & numbered limited-edition prints were be available as well.

Zoe's show, Laughing Dragons & The Half Moon, was on display at Liberty Fine Art Gallery for the entire month of October 2015.  It was a smashing success!  Both old and new fans  enjoyed seeing and purchasing many
never-before-seen pieces.

Zoe's piece for the Art PAWS - benefiting local animals in need.

Art PAWS is the "Only Bring Your Dog Day" during Reno's Artown festival. Art Paws features products and services designed to uplift your pet's mind, body, and soul – and help animals in need. All proceeds benefit local pet organizations!  Zoe's framed, signed piece, entitled, 'Dora', was auctioned off at the event on July 12th, 2015.

Ricky Rocks makes his 1" Debut at fantastic Artown event

This was a one-night only event (July 23rd) featuring the art of 50 artists reproduced on one inch buttons. Collect 'em! trade 'em!  This was an official Artown event and was  a LOT of fun!  Click here for all the details.

History:
"A Vancouver original, started in 2004, this is a 1-night only show of art & social interaction. The works of 50 artists is reproduced on 1" inch buttons. You can buy mixed bags of 5 buttons - you can then trade with other people. Since 2010, Hot One Inch Action also has shown in Seattle, Portland, Calgary, Oakland and New York City, Reno and received artist submissions from Canada, USA, France, UK, Hong Kong and Turkey."

Zoe was youngest artist ever invited to participate in the Doors to Recovery Project 2015

"In celebration of the thousands of courageous young people who have found a new life after addiction, and to promote our passion for transforming the stigma of recovery from addiction and substance use disorders, Transforming Youth Recovery, a Nevada nonprofit, with support from The Stacie Mathewson Foundation is sponsoring the second annual DOORS TO RECOVERY Community Art Project."
Several artist's Doors (including Zoe's) were on display for the month of July at Liberty Fine Art Gallery.  Auction of the doors (26 in all - Zoe being the youngest to ever participate) occurred at the Nevada Museum of Art on September 11, 2015.  Over $100,000 was raised for this amazing cause.

Zoe's first-ever SOLO show at McKinley Arts and Culture Center

Over a dozen drawings and paintings were on display for a 5-week run!

Featured Artist of the Month for Art Walk Reno

Z was given the honor of being the Featured Artist of the Month by Art Walk Reno for the month of April.  For those who don't know, Art Walk Reno is a monthly event held on the first Thursday with 17 locations and more than 60 artists throughout the Downtown/Riverwalk corridors. She was on-hand at Liberty Fine Art April 2nd at where hand-drawn one-of-a-kind wine glasses SOLD OUT within 30 minutes! Proceeds helped local charter school Coral Academy raise funds for a kiln.

Zoe wins drawing contest
It's been announced that Zoe won the 'Pick up your Poop' sign contest.  This means that her drawing will appear at trailheads all over Nevada County.  Read the interview with Zoe here.
